Very enjoyable burger. I used 1 jalapeno pepper that gave just a hint of heat, which was perfect for us.
Great! I made up some simple guacamole and had some leftover bacon so tossed that on top. Used cheddar instead of the pepper jack. Great recipe Paula!
Wonderful change to the standard grilled burger! I used LaRavenscroft's Taco Seasoning recipe in place of the packet mix and it definitely makes a burger worthy to serve any guest. As a mater of fact, a young college student from church politely invited her self over for one of these burgers the next time I make them. She happened to be standing behind me when I was telling someone else just how delicious they were. Made for Ausie/NZ Swap 18
These were excellent. Had some fresh jalapenos from the garden. Cut this down for the 2 of us, but used 1 large jalapeno which was perfect for us. I guessed at the onion and the taco seasoning mix, which must have been pretty close. Loved the taco seasoning in this. Thanks Paula for another keeper.
Easy & pretty good. We love spicy foods, and this is a nice change from the usual burgers. I halved the recipe, and used Spicy Guacamole.
I liked these. I halved the recipe so I used about two teaspoons of the taco seasoning. I also added green onion,jalapeno/serrano peppers and 1-2 teaspoons of goya sazon with achiote and lots of fresh black pepper. I shaped the patties let them marinate for a couple of hours and then grilled them. Lots of spicy good heat!! Enjoyed them! Guacamole is perfect with this burger! Thanks for posting.
Great flavors in these burgers. I didn't have any jalapenos, so used jalapeno sauce. Loved the addition of guacamole. Thanks for sharing.
Paula these burgers are wonderful!..I used my taco Kittencal's Taco Seasoning Mix and added in some dryed chili flakes and fresh garlic also to the burgers, nice and spicy just the way we like it! thanks Paula, I'll be making this again soon!..Kitten:)
I loved these. I used a red bell pepper rather than the jalepeno and used a mild cheese because my family does not like spicy food. They were still too spicy for them, but I thought they were great! I don't eat much meat, so this was a real treat.
