Very good my family loved it. I left out the eggs and did not cook in the crock pot instead I baked it for 45 minutes @ 350. Last 15 minutes topped with cheese and turn oven up to 400.

This mac and cheese is pretty good. BUT you have to eat it when the noodles are done and it does not take 3 hours for this to cook! I would say MAYBE an hour and a half. This has great flavor and reminds me of Stouffer's macaroni and cheese. This is not one to put in the crockpot in the morning and expect to come home to a dinner. It would be hopelessly overcooked by then! You can probably prepare this from an hour to an hour and a half before you plan on having dinner and let it cook. Once its done though, its done, unless you like overcooked noodles, which I don't! Only alteration I made was that I used 2% milk instead of whole. Still came out very creamy tasting. This is a creamy mac/chs, not a harder baked one, so you might want to consider that if your looking for something close to the old fashioned baked variety, this probably isn't for you. If you like creamy, this is pretty good! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

I used 2% sharp cheese, light sour cream and fat free half and half and it turned out wonderfully. I cooked it on high for 20 mins and then another 2 hours on low. This will become an "old standard" in my house!

Made this for a Labor day barbecue. It was easy to put together, but the end product was very bland and kind of curdled looking. My son and his fiance liked it, but my husband and I did not. I guess we are just used to the traditional mac and cheese that is baked in the oven. Thanks for posting.

Watched Paula make this on the Food Network, had to try it! It was a total hit with my family. They all came back for seconds. The even said it was better than Grannies, and no one ever made mac and cheese better than Grannie. My friend stopped by at the end of our meal, heard the guys talking about it (she was on a diet) she just wanted a "taste", bless her heart, it was so good she had 2 servings. Its soooo easy and soooo good!

I also made this mac and cheese and reviewed it on the food network website. It really is good! I skipped the crockpot because of time and the fact that my crockpot runs very hot and it would have been a mess. I just baked it in the oven at 350 for about 40 minutes. Its fab! Its almost identical to Stouffer's!

This was very very good. I liked the texture that the eggs gave to the dish. I doubled the recipe so I would have leftovers and those re-heated well also. I took the macaroni out of the slow cooker after about 2.5 hours, placed it in a 9x13 pan, covered it with shredded cheddar and jack cheeses and put it under the broiler for about 6 minutes at the end. The cheese was bubbly and golden and added a nice flavor to the finished product.
