My scones were not as pretty as the posted photos but they sure did taste good. Very light, tender and flaky! The dough was not wet like the instructions said it would be so I think I over kneaded or added to much flour to the board. Didnt have whole milk so I substituted heavy cream. A nice change from bread!

These scones are outstanding! They are flaky, tender and buttery. I love the addition of parmesan cheese in the dough and on top of the each scone as they bake. These were so quick to put together and everyone in my family enjoyed them as part of their dinner. Mine took 16 minutes to bake in a preheated 400 degree oven. These are GREAT. They are light, flakey, buttery biscuits. I had to use soy milk in place of the whole milk and it worked very well! I also made two rounds out of the dough and cut them into 6 pieces each. They were GONE in no time even though there was only three of us! These would work in place of biscuits for biscuits and gravy! Yummy!

These are wonderful scones! the only thing different is I semi-froze the butter first and used half and half in place of whole milk, otherwise made as stated, thanks for sharing Lainey!...Kitten:)
