A midwestern clam dip.
- 6 1⁄2 ounces minced clams, drained
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- Beat cream cheese with lemon juice until fluffy.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Let chill overnight.
- This is a firm dip. I have lined a bowl with plastic wrap and molded the dip in the bowl. Turn it upside down on a bed of lettuce for serving.
