      I found this recipe on the website and made it the other day to bring to work for a 4th of July Feast! It went over very well and one of the girls actually said "this is the best dessert that I ever had!" I brought a piece home to my hubby who is an avid blueberry lover but hates cherry pie filling and he even said it was very good. He wants me to make it next time using Blueberry Pie Filling instead of the cherry. I'm going to try it next weekend since he is going to a work bbq! Thanks for posting and saving me the time.

      only needs 1/2 c butter and then it is great!

      I love the color is great but I made a few changes. I used one can of strawberry pie filling since our family is not a huge fan of cherry. I also only used 1/2 C butter (one stick) because every dump cake I've ever made only used 1/2C which was plenty! One cup of butter is far too much (in my opinion). This was a super sweet dessert but very yummy ~ we also topped this with cool whip topping!
