  1. I found this recipe on the www.recipe4living.com website and made it the other day to bring to work for a 4th of July Feast! It went over very well and one of the girls actually said "this is the best dessert that I ever had!" I brought a piece home to my hubby who is an avid blueberry lover but hates cherry pie filling and he even said it was very good. He wants me to make it next time using Blueberry Pie Filling instead of the cherry. I'm going to try it next weekend since he is going to a work bbq! Thanks for posting and saving me the time.

  2. only needs 1/2 c butter and then it is great!

  3. I love the color concept...it is great but I made a few changes. I used one can of strawberry pie filling since our family is not a huge fan of cherry. I also only used 1/2 C butter (one stick) because every dump cake I've ever made only used 1/2C which was plenty! One cup of butter is far too much (in my opinion). This was a super sweet dessert but very yummy ~ we also topped this with cool whip topping!

  4. This was a big hit with my family when I made this for the 4th of July dessert. It's so quick and easy to make especially when all you need is the pan that you bake it in! I topped it off with whip cream and I know I will be making this again for sure!

  5. I made this for a 4th cook-out. It was so good and everyone loved it. I also liked it because it wasn't the typical red white and blue dessert. Next time I will probably use 2 cans of cherry pie filling, and I used a whole bag of frozen blueberries.
