Pasty Pie (Northern Michigan Meat Pie)

This recipe reminds me of vacations in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and is just plain good.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Brown ground sirloin and onion.
  2. Dice potato and rutabaga and add to meat mixture.
  3. Season.
  4. Put meat mixture inside pie shell and seal.
  5. Put fork marks in shell for ventilation.
  6. Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until crust in golden brown.
  7. I like to spray the pan with non stick spray.
