    • 500 g lasagna noodles

    Meat filling

    Bechamel sauce

    Directions:

      Cook and drain lasagne.

      Cook mince, onion and butter together for 2-3 mins, stirring often.

      Add tomato, salt and pepper, tomato puree.
    4. 4
      Continue to cook until meat is tender.

      Blend in 1/2 cup grated cheese.

      Put 1/2 of the lasagne in greased casserole dish.

      Cover with all meat sauce.
    8. 8
      Top with remaining lasagne.

      Make the bechamel sauce: Melt 50g butter, blend in 3 tbsp flour and cook gently for 1-2 minutes Gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring frequently, until thick. Beat in 1 beaten egg and 1/4 cup grated cheese.

      Pour bechamel sauce over dish.

      Bake at 180 deg. C for 40 - 50mins or until top nicely browned.
