A delicious vodka sauce recipe with a kick of heat! Like another reviewer, I used only 1/4 cup of vodka and increased the broth to 1/2 cup, and I thought the flavors were great. Take note that the 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes is PLENTY, even for those who like spicy foods. For those with more sensitive stomachs, I'd definitely cut this down to 1/8 tsp. Overall, both DH and I loved it, and I'll definitely be making it again!

Wow, I made this for Valentine's dinner for my hubby and I tonight. He kept going on about it being better then at a restaurant. I didn't have fresh basil and used dried. It was fantastic and easy. Definitely going into my monthly meal rotation. It was so much better then the jarred stuff I have bought in the past. Thanks for an awesome recipe. It was lower calorie as well!!! :) Toasted ciabatta bread with butter and garlic salt to go with it. Literally wiped the plate clean to get every last bit of sauce on the bread.

Made for 123 tag. Oooo Redsie! Awesome recipe and so simple to prepare! I only added 1/4 cup vodka and increased the stock to a cup...I was'nt sure how my tummy would tolerate a 1/2 cuppa booze...LOL

OOOOOOOOH delicious!! I made this and it burned my tongue off cuz I added too much red pepper flakes, but I still enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!! ME LOVEY!!!!!!!

This certainly doesn't taste Light! I didn't have any sodium-free ingredients so I just used what I had and eliminated the additional salt. The crused red peppers give it a bit of a kick without being too spicy. To top it all off it is quick and easy to make too!
