Great meal for Lent.
- 1 (16 ounce) bagfrozen petite peas and pearl onions
- 1⁄3 cup vegetable oil
- 2⁄3 cup water
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (16 ounce) box medium pasta shells
- Put the first 5 ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave for 5 minutes; then stir.
- Microwave for another 5 minutes.
- Boil medium shells according to directions on package.
- Pour pea mixture over pasta and serve.
