This dish was super easy to make. The only alteration I made was to add about a tsp of fresh chopped thyme with the basil. I also used farfalle since that was the only short pasta I had on hand. Delicious!

I happened to have all the ingredients on hand. This was an easy to make basic tomato sauce but the mascarpone added an extra dimension of richness to the sauce. I didn't puree mine because I preferred it chunky.

A very nice recipe. The result is slightly sweet, rich, creamy pasta sauce, which works best with a freshly shaved Parmesan cheese on the side. Quantity is enough for 3 generous portions.

Awesome recipe. Made it tonight for my new gentleman friend and after last nights meatloaf disaster, this one more than made up for it. I couldn't get cherry tomatoes but the store had a tiny on the vine version. I increased the tomatoes by one half and used a pint of grape tomatoes. Doubled on everything else, including mascarpone. I cooked 1 pound of whole wheat rotini and quadrupled the parmesan. I used Romano. This made enough for at least 6-8 people. I served it with chicken cutlets and a salad. I will definately be making this one again.
