A Yummy pasta and sauce dish, as seen on Top Chef Season 1.
- 1 lb fresh rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups pre-made marinara sauce
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon shallot, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup sun-dried tomato, sliced thin
- 2 tablespoons sherry wine
- 1⁄2 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
- Cook pasta and drain.
- Bring all other ingredients to a boil and then simmer and introduce cooked pasta and cook until warmed through.
