Wow, this was delicious and healthy! I used whole wheat pasta and it was still better than most primaveras I've had in restaurants. I will definitely make this again before the farmer's market is over. Thank you.
Yummy! We loved this recipe! If you & your guests don't like spicy food, I would suggest omitting the red pepper flakes. My husband & I loved the heat but my Mom found it too spicy for her. I only made some minor changes: I used regular turkey sausage as that is what I always have on hand; I omitted the onion as a personal preference & omitted the squash as my grocer didn't have any on my shopping day; I used 2 Tbsp dried basil instead of the fresh leaves. Loads & loads of flavour & quite easy to make.
I made this last night, but substituted ground turkey, due to hubby's cholesterol. Milder, but still flavorful. Great for summer when its too hot to do much cooking!
