- 5 ounces dried rotini pasta (2 cups)
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 1⁄2 cups chunky ragu garden combination tomato sauce
directions
- Cook Rotini according to package directions. Drain; rinse with cold water. Drain Well.
- For pasta crust, in a large bowl combine egg, milk, and Parmesan cheese. Stir in drained rotini. Spread rotini mixture evenly in a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook ground beef until brown. Drain. Stir in pasta sauce. Spoon meat mixture over baked rotini crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes more until heated through and cheese is melted. To serve, cut into wedges.
