Finally got around to making this and it was not only tasty but oh so much fun and everyone thought I was soooo clever. I did add some fresh herbs to the sauce, basil, oregano and thyme and some fine chopped sweet onions. While the sauce was already good, I felt that these additions added a nice depth of flavors. Other than that I made as directed and was so pleased with the results. This is truly a recipe to impress, served with a side of capresi salad and fresh hot bread. What a great dinner.
