This is a family favorite when we gather at any holiday event. Give it as much bite as you want.

  1. Drain tuna.
  2. Combine tuna and cream cheese using a hand mixer.
  3. Add tabasco, spread should have a salmon color. Add more if you prefer.
  4. Chill for at least one hour and keep chilled on your party table.
  5. Serve with your favorite party cracker.

What a simple recipe! I'd never thought to add cream cheese to tuna. We get fresh tuna canned each year that doesn't even compare to the store canned tuna. This was yummy and I agree you could add other herbs if you liked. This was a hit at a poker party.

What an easy-to-whip-up spread! For a quick snack or for appies for unexpected drop-in guests. It's also very versatile (I like versatile recipes), one could spice it up, herb it up, or add favorite diced veggies for a luncheon salad or stuffed tomatoes. Thank you so much for posting. Made for My 3 chefs 08.
