I got this recipe from my SIL who lives in Salt Lake City, these potato's are tradition for pretty much any event/occasion. We make them at Christmas, Easter Fourth of July etc.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 4 -6 cups hash browns (frozen or instant)
  • 1 (12 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (whichever you prefer) or 1 (12 ounce) can cream of celery soup (whichever you prefer) or 1 (12 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (whichever you prefer)
  • 1 12 cups sour cream
  • 1 12 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 13 cup minced green onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 12 cups corn flakes

Directions

  1. Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Add hash browns then layer soup sour cream, cheese and place in 350° oven for 45 minutes.
  3. Mix crushed corn flakes with melted butter and layer on top off potato's Place in oven another 10 minutes to crisp topping.
  4. Sprinkle with minced onion and serve.
