"I got this recipe from my SIL who lives in Salt Lake City, these potato's are tradition for pretty much any event/occasion. We make them at Christmas, Easter Fourth of July etc."

  • 4 -6 cups hash browns (frozen or instant)
  • 1 (12 ounce) can cream of celery soup (whichever you prefer) or (12 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (whichever you prefer)
  • 1 12 cups sour cream
  • 1 12 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 13 cup minced green onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 12 cups corn flakes

  • Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Add hash browns then layer soup sour cream, cheese and place in 350° oven for 45 minutes.
  • Mix crushed corn flakes with melted butter and layer on top off potato's Place in oven another 10 minutes to crisp topping.
  • Sprinkle with minced onion and serve.
