One of my mom's catering recipes - she doesn't give specifics on the sherry proportions, but I'll guess.
- 4 ounces braunschweiger sausage
- 2 tablespoons anchovy paste
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄4 cup dry sherry
- Combine 1st three ingredients.
- Add sherry a little bit at a time, enough to make a spreadable paste.
- Form or mound on a small plate and serve room temperature with assorted crackers.
