When you want a change from potatoes & rice for a side dish, this is the one we choose. It's easy to prepare and yet tastes so good. The blend of flavors makes it companionable to any meal.

  1. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, parsley, basil and lemon pepper.
  2. Stir in water; keep warm.
  3. In a sauce pan, saute garlic in remaining butter until lightly browned.
  4. Place noodles in a serving bowl, top with garlic mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese; toss lightly; Spoon cream sauce over noodles and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
  6. Garnish with parsley if desired.

YUM... I've made these a few times now and they are delicious and fast. Last night made with Shrimp Scampi and roasted veggies - everyone loved it!

A nice comforting side dish that tastes great! How can you go wrong with cream cheese, fresh parsley, lemon-pepper, garlic and parmesan cheese!?! Thanks Pat! I used extra wide egg noodles.
