A great alternative to plain old mashed potatoes.
- 4 large potatoes, chopped coarsely (1.2kg)
- 40 g butter
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- Boil, steam or microwave potatoes until soft; drain well.
- Mash potatoes in a large bowl with remaining ingredients until smooth.
We liked the nice flavor twist the Parmesan cheese gave to the mashed potatoes. Even tasted good reheated the next day. Made as written. Thanks Terese. Bullwinkle
These were really ggod. The kids loved them. It was something different then regular mashed potatoes. Will be making again.
This really was a nice change to regular mashed potato and I thought the parmesan was better than cheddar based alternatives I've had before.
