This only serves two as there are only two people in my family who eat green beans.
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper
- Boil green beans in salt water in a saucepan for about 3 minutes, until tender.
- Drain and return to pan.
- Mix in the rest of the ingredients, saving 1 Tablespoon of cheese to top the beans upon serving.
This is a great combination of ingredients, the flavors meld well together. I will be making these again when I don't want plain green beans. Thanks for posting.
