This stuff is fabulous! I love to use this to spread on top of warm breadsticks or rolls right out of the oven. Before when I made breadsticks, I could never get a strong enough flavor to come through in my breadsticks. Just slather this on top of or inside of homemade breadsticks or rolls. It's so much better than just sprinkling on Parmesan and garlic powder. You can also add Italian seasoning if you like. If you don't have minced garlic, you can substitute 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. However, I prefer minced with an additional dash of garlic powder. Mmmmmm... I have added to mashed potatoes or to butter up noodles. Make a bunch and store it in the fridge- it'll become a regular staple!

  1. Beat together ingredients until combined.
  2. If possible, chill at least an hour to blend flavors.
  3. Top warm breadsticks, potatoes, or pasta.
  4. Store in fridge.

I just mixed this up; haven't tried it on bread yet but it smelled so good so I know it'll taste great! I used "I can't believe it's not butter" fat free butter spread & (after cutting the recipe in half) 1/4 tsp jarred minced garlic (about 2 cloves). I also used the optional italian seas. I plan on spreading it on whole wheat bread, then toasting it for quick, tasty garlic bread! Thank u for sharing!

I would have to say that the combination of these ingredients make for a SMASHING success. This is a new favorite at my house and I've made several batches to give as gifts along with breadstick mixes. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS!!!
