      I made this last night after reading all the positive results. I had to re-read the posted recipe to check if I had left an ingredient out. But alas, I had not. This cornbread was lacking in taste and texture. Taste- bland with a slightly unpleasant sour underlying taste while the texture-resembled a super moist cake from a box mix. I much prefer my cornbread to have a crumbly texture .Really regret the waste of my imported Parm!! NO STARS

      Cornbread is one of my favorite type of bread. I liked the flavor the parmesan cheese added . A salad and this cornbread would make a nice lunch. I served this with your Kansas City Steak soup. Thanks Sharon 123. Bullwinkle

      My DH loved this cornbread. He loves parmesan cheese. My DS and myself were not as fond of it. We didn't care for the parmesan. Thanks for posting.

      This yummy cornbread goes very well with Cheesy Topped Bean Soup.The Parmesan cheese gives this cornbread a very nice flavor. Thank you sharon for posting the recipe.

      Oh wow - is this good! I made it tonight to go along with Italian Turkey Sausage and Peppers With Bow Tie Pasta - excellent combination! I did reduce the salt to a 1/4 teaspoon, as I figured the parmesan cheese was salty enough, and I added about a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. Baked it in a glass 9x13 (I don't have a cast iron skillet) and it came out perfectly. Thanks for posting. -M =)
