What a great catfish recipe! I, too, used Old Bay Seasoning instead of creole seasoning as I am a wimp with hot stuff. This was easy to fix and we enjoyed it with roasted potatoes and cole slaw.
I will spray the pan first next time as I had trouble removing the fish from the baking pan. Thanks,
Carole in Orlando
I used Old Bay instead of creole, and it turned out delicious! My picky preschooler even loved it!

I didn't use the paprika as I have an allergy. However, it turned out wonderful. Should have made a double batch. Also used halibut not catfish available here. Still the white fish was wonderful. Put it under the broiler about 7 minutes to put the crunch on the top at the end of the cooking cycle. Thanks again.

Made this for lunch and it is just awesome. The only thing different I did was use cajun seasoning and a bit more than called for and hungarian paprika. Gave the fish a nice little kick. Will definately make again. Thank you for a great recipe.

Sign in or create an accountI used catfish nuggets which are so inexpensive, and I reduced the time. l left out the butter (fat freak), but I think the next time, I will use it. I found the fish too moist when I fetched it out after the time I aproximated (20 minutes), so I gave it about a minute and half under a carefully watched broil. But it so tasty, I do recommend.

A full 5 stars for sure. I used cajun spice (Iwas out of Creole) and I was generous with it. The timing is perfect - I did turn on the broiler the last 4 minutes to give the fish a last minute Golden boost. Easy recipe that turns out a moist tasty fish dinner.
