The creamy, melted Muenster cheese combined so well with the flavors of the potatoes, tomatoes and onions. I used scallions, as that is what I had in stock. I boiled smaller potatoes, peeled them rather lazily and cut them all in half before pouring on the topping. Not only was the presentation amazing, but the quantity was also impressive. The Papas Chorreadas were almost as good as leftovers, too! I'll definitely make this dish again, and I will be sure to make it for friends at some point in the future. Thanks for posting!

This is a recipe that takes me back to my country! I read the recipe and I guess we all have different ways to make them, but as far as how to prepare the boiled potatoes you should peel but leave some skin in for more texture. I would bake and make sure there is enough cheese and I would also add "Queso fresco" it just gives it a great cheesy taste to it that is for sure! Yummy... On top I would place a mix of saut?ed finely chopped green onions, tomatoes and an ingredient similar to cumin ., but its called BIJOL( locals at any Spanish super market ) it's a small orange container and the powder is EXTREMELY orange! Be careful it might make your have Orange few washes and problem solved. Once the skillet is set on the stove with veg oil once it's ready mix it in together and also add salt to your liking. Once you have noticed the veg's are well done drip all the sauce on top of the cheese and potatoes and let them bake just to give it that wonderful taste we Colombians LOVE.!! Once everything looks melted and the sauce has spread over the top and through the potables. Thats is ! Enjoy .... Itsmy grave dish.

This was a great recipe. I boiled the potatoes whole and then sliced them since there were no directions on how to prepare them. After placing them in a serving dish I made the rest of the ingredients..which were very yummy. Next time I would bake the casserole to allow the potatoes to crisp and the top to brown. We liked this dish the way it was written but thought baking it would make it even better. Made for ZWT7
