This soup was great. Perfect for a cold winters night. I did use light cream cheese at room temperature and could not get the cheese to blend completely. I will try again with regular cream cheese next time. Fast and easy.

We enjoyed it very much. I added the carrot and celery suggested in an early review. Didn't want to sacrifice any chunky potato goodness, so I thicken with about 1/4 c potato flakes added after the cream cheese was incorporated. Do recommend using reduced sodium broth.

delicious! used 1.5 t. seasoning salt and added 1 t. minced garlic, 2 celery stalks & 1 carrot. going into regular rotation! hubby and i were both nervious about there being too much cream cheese b/c we don't care for it unless it's cooked into something. we both felt it added the right degree of creaminess while staying true to the potato! yummy!!!

I did not know exactly what to expect. I new it would be good but it was GREAT. The potato flavor was 60% the cheese 40%. It was the right thickness and texture. It fact it gives me a idea for a fondue. Everyone had 2 bowls and suddenly it was gone. I followed the recipe to the T and it was worth it. What are you waiting for, give it a try. Pigpurple

I made this soup two days ago for our lunch....it disappeared for breakfast when my husband tasted it on the way to the breakfast table...Made a new batch this a.m. for grandgirl for lunch....Husband has been tasting again.....he is absolutely wild about this recipe and so am I.... Thanks so much for a real success.... (I added 2 tablespoons of parsley flakes and 2/3 tsp. celery salt)

I have never been to Panera, but I LOVE potato soup and wanted to try a new recipe because this looked so much easier than my usual. Honestly, it tasted good. If I hadn't known it had an entire block of cream cheese in it I probably would have loved it, but to me it was more like cream cheese soup than potato. I won't make it again, sorry.

This soup is amazing! It was wonderful with a hot loaf of crusty wheat bread and a spinach salad. YUM! Hadn't ever had Panera's version -- but there's no need to bother as this is excellent!

My husband was reading the ingredients and I thought he said celery salt. So I put in 1/2 teaspoon celery salt instead of seasoned salt. That being said it still turned out pretty good. My daughter added bacos, sour cream and shredded chedder to the top of hers and it was even better. Can't wait to see how it is when I use the correct ingredients!!
