My husband was reading the ingredients and I thought he said celery salt. So I put in 1/2 teaspoon celery salt instead of seasoned salt. That being said it still turned out pretty good. My daughter added bacos, sour cream and shredded chedder to the top of hers and it was even better. Can't wait to see how it is when I use the correct ingredients!!
Super easy and fabulous recipe! I have made this many times and everyone loves it! I add some cornbread muffins and make it a meal! Besides the fact that it is so delicious, the fact that you always have all the ingredients on hand makes it a great "go to" dish.
This soup was amazing, I expected it to be somewhat bland with so few ingredients, but it was fabulous and very simple.
We loved this. A simple recipe but very flavorful and the leftover soup was even better the next day. Easy for quick after work supper with some good bread and salad. This will be recommended to friends and made by us again. Thanks for a great recipe.
Great soup! Doubled the recipe in hopes of having leftovers. Didn't have any left! I think the servings are a little off. I only doubled the broth and the potatoes (plus added extra potatoes). I left the spices and cream cheese at the original amount and it turned out great. I did use bouillon granules to make the broth since I didn't have any on hand. Thanks for this great recipe!!
we loved this! i followed another review and did the soup with baked potatoes and sauteed the onions with a head of minced garlic. YUMMY!
This is really delicious. I used vegetable bouillon cube and water to replace the chicken broth, and this came out SO DELICIOUS. I also added a little fresh parsley and garlic. I love the soup really hot, and still getting yummy chunks of cream cheese once in a while.
This soup is absolutely amazing! And WOW, can we say EASY! I have made this countless times now in 2mths. I did what other said, and that was put as many potatoes as the broth would hold. So it's more like 6cups of cut small potatoes. Makes a great recipe to give to a new mom who had a new baby.
This is simply amazing! I added some diced ham to it and wow my kids and husband are in heaven! I will be making this again and again!
I've made this twice now, with rave reviews from my teenage daughters. You do not have to be afraid that this won't turn out, it is fantastic! I blended 1/2 the potatos which made the soup creamy and smoothe. I am adding this to my "Best of Zaar so far" cookbook. Thanks!
