- 150 g panir (grated)
- 50 g onions (finely sliced)
- 50 g tomatoes (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 3 teaspoons fresh cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- salt

For garnishing
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- 2 tablespoons of chopped cashews
- 1⁄4 cup cilantro leaf, chopped
directions
- Saute onions and tomatoes till they turn brown.
- Add turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder,red chili powder and salt.
- Add the paneer and stir fry for a minute.
- Garnish with 1 tsp cream, finely chopped cashew nuts, raisins and finely chopped cilantro leaves.
- Enjoy.

This is a very good recipe. I used 250 gms. of grated paneer, 100 gms. of finely chopped onions, 100 gms. of chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp. of corriander seeds {not powder} and 1 tsp. of cumin seeds {not powder} to make this. I omitted the cashews, raisins and cream since we are watching the calories. I also used oil as a substitute for butter. This went very well with rotis and rice. We all enjoyed it for dinner tonight. Thanks for a great recipe!
