These are really nice pancakes. I cooked them in two small frying pans, one to a pan, simultaneously and they do cook fast, as the recipe states. I rotated the pans a bit to swirl the batter, which made them thinner (and that's the way we like our pancakes). They were great with butter and syrup and I think I'll serve a fruit sauce (raspberry?)with them next time. Thanks Ellie! Great recipe!

Made as directed. Very simple and easy to make. Had a hard time waiting the 30 minutes. Made for ZWT9 and "The Apron String Travelers"

This is the same recipe my step-grandmother taught me, and the only recipe I can remember because it is so simple. I use gluten-free flour and it works out fine. Add an extra egg for a crepe. I never manage to let the mixture sit for 30 minutes though. I melt the butter and then use a paper towel to wipe it off, and use the paper towel to refresh the pan during the cooking.
