  1. Yum! We enjoyed this. Good flavor from the molasses. I used 1t vanilla and about 1/2t maple flavoring. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. Made this when I ran out of syrup one morning. The kids did not care that I made homemade syrup but I thought the flavor was amazing. I added a tsp of vanilla and 1/2 tsp of maple flavoring. WOW! Oh, I also used molasses. This replaced my old syrup recipe.

  3. Easy & my crew love this recipe! :)

  4. Very good and super easy to make!! I did not give it 5 stars b/c it was a bit heavy on the vanilla for my taste, but of course that is just a preference!! Will use again!!

  5. I've tried this twice, once using the molasses, and once using the corn syrup. I love molasses, so that version was a hit with me; however, the kids and hubby preferred the corn syrup version. Both were great and very simple to make. I left out the maple flavoring because I didn't have it, but I did add a splash of Kahlua to the molasses version, which was a nice addition! :)
