  1. I made these along with a breakfast pizza for a nice breakfast-for-dinner kind of meal, and they were a hit. They tasted just like pancakes, and everyone was surprised to find a tasty chunk of banana inside (tasted just like the bananas in banana pudding!). The only minor change I made was to use light pancake syrup instead of plain maple syrup, but the result was fine. The flavor might have been stronger with real maple syrup, but we liked them as they were!

  2. i made these today for a picnic lunch. instead of maple syrup and bananas, i added chedder cheese and turkey. they were fantastic! i am looking forward to trying many combinations!

  3. hi made this this morning for my ds and his best bud. put blueberries in half of the muffins because the boys had just picked them and looked so disappointed when I wasn't going to make blueberry pancakes...anyway, I only needed 10 extra minutes cook time but that is i think because i only had jumbo muffin tins. it made 6 jumbos...and I did drizzle the syrup over the warm muffs and they were yummy, and filling. both boys loved them and my ds is VERY picky. thanks for a great, easy, tasty breakfast treat.

  4. Great easy, breakfast solution. I halved the recipe and they turned out great. A definite hit with my family and a labor saving alternative to pancakes for me!

  5. EDITED REVIEW: These were easy to put together and moist. The syrup puts an attractive sheen on the finished product and the edges and bottom got nicely crispy-golden brown. Your originality deserves merit and a nod.
