Loved the concept on these, and the herbs are a great touch. Unfortunately, the salty flavor overwhelmed much of the other flavors, despite using reduced sodium soy sauce. I marinated for about 40 minutes, and it still soaked up a very salty flavor. Once we squeezed out some of the marinade and ate with rice, it was enjoyed. Thanks for sharing! Veggie Swap 51
Note that the Vegan Table recipe calls for 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar for the marinade. This recipe doesn't include that in the ingredients list, although step 1 of the instructions says to combine vinegar with the soy sauce, etc. I did not find the mushrooms too salty as the other reviewer did. This is one of our favorite ways to prepare portobello mushrooms.
