    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Add flour to butter in pan.
    2. 2
      Always use equal amounts of flour and butter.

      Stir butter and flour together until smooth and cook over low heat, stirring steadily.

      Take from heat, stir in cool milk slowly.

      This is my favorite recipe for biscuits and gravy. I usually use the grease from the sausage instead of the butter. Sometimes I use 1/2 beef broth and 1/2 milk (instead of all milk). And I always add a tsp of dried onion flakes and plenty of pepper. YUMMO.

      Yum! I made this and served it over chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes on a cold and rainy day. Great meal. I did add some meat drippings from the meat and lots of pepper also. Thanks for sharing this simple and yummy recipe. Made for Cookbook Tag.
