Pan-Fried Squash

This squash is unlike any other squash before, It has plenty of flavor, and is coated with cornmeal instead of flour.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb yellow squash
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 12 cups cornmeal
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste


  1. Slice the squash about a 1/4 an inch thick.
  2. Preaheat oil in a frying pan.
  3. Season the squash slices with salt and pepper.
  4. Coat the squash slices with cornmeal.
  5. Fry squash about two minutes per side, or until slighty brown.
  6. Let cool and enjoy.
