Wow, I still can't believe that I made these delicious tasting buns. They turned out so good and they even look pretty too. Easy to make, this sweet bread is perfection, light and tender, with just the right amount of sweetness. Great tasting rolls. I just had to adda tad bit more flour to it though, great GREAT topping too. Nice moist, and flavorful too. Made for 1-2-3 hits.
These little buns are delicious! They are pretty easy to make too. When I added the egg yolk to the topping mixture, it went from crumbly to pasty, so I couldn't really "crumble" it over the rolls - I just patted the topping into flat pieces and covered the tops of the rolls with them. The rolls baked up light and fluffy and the topping was terrific. Thanks for posting!
I wanted a sweet bread that I could slice, so I used this recipe, yet made it in the breadmachine. I just left off the topping, and used a little less flour (I added as needed). Lightly sweet and very fluffy!!!!
