A great starter! First you taste "sweet" from the honey, then "warm" from the peppers. Very easy to make.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined (about 60)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped finely
  • 12 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 12 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup honey
  • 34 cup canola oil
  • 14 cup balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except shrimp.
  2. Pour over shrimp and marinate for 2 hours.
  3. Broil shrimp on cookie sheet one or two minutes on each side until opaque.
  4. Don't overcook or they will be chewy.
  5. Can be served immediately or cooled.
