Pain De Volaille Meatloaf

"This is a different type of meatloaf. I usually use turkey when making it. I'm not sure if you could substitute the standard ground beef. Never tried it."

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine all ingredients for the loaf in a large bowl. Knead using hands.
  • Place meatloaf mixture in bread pan and bake in oven for 1 hour or until done.
  • In a saucepan combine onions and white wine. Bring to a boil and reduce by half.
  • Add tumeric and cream. Reduce to medium heat.
  • Wisk in the the butter a little at a time; adding the next piece before the prior has completely melted. Do not allow mixture to boil. Stir constantly.
  • Add fresh lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour sauce over meatloaf and serve.
