My family loves this recipe. I do make a few adjustments. First, I do not like garlic so I omit it and double the green onions. I also tend to use ginger powder or ginger puree instead of minced ginger. I also use some type of red pepper (flakes or powder). You get perfection and no leftovers. Oh and serves 3 in our house.

This is amazing and definitely a new favorite! I've never had the PF Changs version, but my whole family loved this recipe. Thanks so much for sharing!

Please to remember this is a wholly American dish. Mongols have never heard of this recipe.
It is also not very good for you, especially in PF Chang's.

This recipe is great. A lot of work though. I haven't had the original but I think I'll have to try now.

This recipe turned out great. It is the first time I cooked a chinese food recipe that I liked. I finally have a meal I can cook with steamed rice out of my cooker.

Loved it!!!!!!! Tasted just like PF Chang's!!! I used 1 1/2# of stir-fry beef because my meat dept was out of flank. I increased the recipe accordingly and it fed 4 at my house (with white rice) and there is a small portion left over, which I promptly called dibbs on for my lunch tomorrow ;) Great copycat!!!

Yummy! Thanks Tish! I didn't use all the oil suggested which worked out fine, and left the meat in the sauce. I also used eye of round which was already cut in thin slices and I cut them again into bite size pieces....worked out great and really wasn't tough. My family was impressed and ready for more! :)

My husband really liked this.I used a homemade soy sauce since I didn't have some on hand.I also reduced the sugar to very little and though to me it lacked sweetness,my husband and daughter really loved this.I will keep this and try to make it sweeter next time.

My family absolutely loved this. Especially my very picky husband. However I do suggest that if making for 5 people and only serving with rice to double the meat. The rest of the ingredients should be fine as there was quite a bit of sauce.

The recipe was fair - didn't care for the sweetness. Will definitely make again using hoisin sauce and decrease amount of brown sugar.
