- 1 pint cooked squash
- 1 cake yeast
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- dissolve yeast in water.
- add to the squash, sugarand butter and beat then turn in yeast and beat agian.
- add enough flour to make a stiff batter.
- leave in warm place overnight.
- then turn in greased pans and bake on a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
