  • Combine beef, cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, sherry, oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon of the oil; marinate for 20 minutes.
  • In a wok or skillet, heat remaining oil and brown garlic. Add meat and onion; stir-fry 1 minute. Add peas and cook 1 more minute.

  1. This was pretty good. I used beef broth in place of the sherry. I had the butcher slice my meat and I think it was still too thick because it came out a little chewy. I tried my best to not over or under cook it though. I'll probably try this again with chicken.
     
  2. I made this as a quick dinner last night. I served it over Ramen noodles and the sauce was excellent with them! I did alter the recipe slightly by omitting the sherry wine and adding in extra peas since we love them! Thanks for the great recipe!
