Aunt Darlene's recipe from family collection.
- 1 lb sausage
- 6 eggs
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 6 slices bread
- 1 1⁄2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 cups milk
- 1⁄4 cup green pepper, diced
- 1⁄4 cup mushroom, diced
- Cook sausage, drain and cool.
- Beat eggs, milk and mustard. Stir in cheese. Break bread into cubes and add to egg mixture. Add sausage. Pour into 9x13 pan and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Reheats well.
