I love the blueberries and cream cheese, very good. If you had overnight guess and served them this in the morning they would never leave. Thank you for sharing this it’s another keeper. Made this for our Worldwide Recipezaar Day Feb 10, 2002.

This is ideal for busy mornings - prepare it the night before and pop it into the oven! Although my family enjoyed this, the children ate around the cream cheese. I will prepare it again but reduce the amount of cream cheese.

This is AWESOME. Very easy, and very very good. I almost didn't want to tell my guests how easy it was because they raved about it!

Delicious, although my kids didn't like the cream cheese. Will make again without it. I also agree that the blueberries in the layer should be a little sugared. I made a simple syrup of 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, which I brought to a boil -- then added a cup of blueberries and simmered about 10 minutes at reduced heat. Spooned it over the top of the french toast on serving -- delicious!

Tried this for a brunch, and we didn't really enjoy it. I used a full dry-pint of blueberries, and it wasn't enough. I ended up having to bake it for an hour to set, and the bread on top was so hard then, it was hardly edible. Thanks for the recipe, but I won't be making this again.

Great recipe! Made it for a reunion with 21 people and EVERYONE loved it and had seconds (including 10 picky kids who would rather be swimming in the lake than eating!), so plan for extra! We had no leftovers and we doubled it!

I made half the recipe, used egg substitute instead of eggs and low fat cream cheese. Not sure I cared too much for this dish. It seemed like the bread pieces were too thick and there wasn't enough cream cheese or blue berries. Also, I'm not sure it baked long enough, as the center wasn't firm, but the top was browning, so I pulled it out. I may try this again, but use smaller cubes of bread.

I doubled the recipe & will cut back on the cream cheese the next time I do this. So goo especially with fresh blueberries.

I made this for my DH and I so I cut the recipe in 1/2 and it was baked in an 8x8 dish. It was a perfect size. I cut it into 4 pieces. I also used raisin bread and it turned out fantastic. My DH took the 2 leftover pieces to work and shared it for a mid morning snack. His friend raved about it and wanted the recipe. This will be good for overnight guests. We loved it. Thanks.

I needed a recipe to serve at a Highschool Cheerleader breakfast and they loved it! I used frozen blueberries and sprinkled them with a little sugar. I used 1/2 a package of the cream cheese. I broiled it at the end to make it crunchy on top. 5 Stars!!

This is good, the only problem I had was too much custard - in that the bread did not soak it all up. Next time I will dry out the bread before adding the egg milk combo. Otherwise it was a great hit!

I also hate to leave a bad review, however, I too would agree the addition of sugar to sweeten the berries may be a better alternative. We were disappointed with the lack of flavor.

This was wonderful! We used a honey wheat bread, and 2/3 of the cream cheese called for. IT was divine! Thanks

This is the BEST overnight blueberry cream cheese recipe we have ever tried and we've tried a few (which were all good). The addition of the real maple syrup is what makes it stand out. Thank you for an excellant recipe

This was great. I used Portuguese sweet bread and 1% milk. Next time I'm going to use apples and eliminate the cream cheese....thanks Lenny for another keeper.

Made this for a baby shower brunch and it was delicious! My son who literally doesn't eat anything even ate it and liked it! Can't wait to make it again!
