Overload

"This is so KID friendly, comfort food for those missing home! College kids love this whopping sandwich and for the younger children just place all on a plate with their favorite condiment (Ketchup)! Fried chicken finger and mushrooms, French fries, onion rings, with lots of tangy sauce. Optional topping with your favorite Cole slaw. That 's just so Mom 's know their children are getting something good in them. All the optional ingredients are a must by those college going adult-children! Frying the potatoes last absorbs the delicious flavors of the chicken, onions and mushrooms. Can You Eat the Whole Thing or have to Share It?"

  1. This is a huge meal! I only prepared half of the recipe & we still had loads to work with. I used a swiss cheese & fresh baked molasses oatmeal hoagie rolls. The breading mixture is outstanding and tastes good on all of the pieces in this sandwich. The sandwich itself is huge, there is alot of food here. Very filling and DH loved these. I probably wouldn't layer the potatoes on mine next time. The sauce adds just the right touch. Great idea Rita for a hubby pleasing meal!
