Oven-Roasted Fresh Corn on the Cob

A recipe for the barbecue deprived.
Directions:

Preheat oven to 450*F.

Leaving husks on corn, pull down and remove silks.

Soak ears for 10 minutes in sugared water to cover.

Replace husks and close with a twisting motion or tie closed with string.
5
Place the ears in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
6
Remove husks prior to serving.
7
Serve with butter, salt and pepper.

I didn't have time to soak the ears of corn, but I did pour some olive oil over them and some salt and pepper prior to baking. It was great. My son said that is the best way he has had corn. I tend to agree.
