  1. The chicken was juicy and the flavors blended together very well. The outer edges were crisp yet moist. I baked the chicken for less time - 29 minutes, as I pounded the chicked to just less than 1/2 inch, and my oven does seem to cook recipes faster than normal. The flavors blended together nicely, and it was good to have some crunch when chewing. I served the chicken with broccoli cashew rice pilaf, and it was fantastic. This is a winner!

  2. The breading is just fantastic AND it is great on any basic white fish as well! Great recipe!

  3. Delicious! Chicken is well flavored, very moist and tender. Easy to make and elegant enough for company.

  4. This is really good as written! I make the crumb mixture in my mini food processor and it's super fast! My only tweak is after breading, to add fresh mushrooms slices and then cover them w/ a slice of LF swiss cheese and bake (covered w/ foil until last 5 min) as directed. I also think next time I will try adding a little basil to the breading and see how that works out too.

  5. I use this recipe all the time, regularly subbing it out for the fried chicken in several recipes. It is very delicious - love how easy it is and the fact that the ingredients are generally on hand for a last minute meal idea. Thank you!

Tweaks

  1. This was incredible! My DH loved it, too! I used crushed unsalted crackers instead of breadcrumbs, dry parsley and garlic powder and the flavours were incredible together. I set some of the breading mixture aside and I didn't alter the amounts at all, but was only making four chicken breasts, and I used the extra mixture as the topping to Vegetables Au Gratin - recipe#113597. Thank you for the great recipe!

  2. I substituted bone-in chicken thighs for the chicken breast halves. The coating was delicious; the almonds gave it an unusual crunch. Very good and very easy.
