These were delicious! I made double the amount of sauce for dipping. It also didn't say how long to boil the ribs, so I did for 20 minutes. They were perfect with the meat falling off the bones!
absolutely, positively the BEST rib recipe EVER. the sauce is excellent (i do double it now) - in these days, when we're all pinching pennies - I'm able to buy a slab of ribs on sale for under a buck a pound and get a GREAT meal plus leftovers. thank you so much for posting it
I liked this recipe quite a bit. I was skeptical about how tender the ribs would be, considering they aren't slow-roasted for a long time, but -wow- they really turned out nicely! I did have to use a Chinese Chili Paste instead of the Chili Sauce, but since it included quite a bit of garlic, it lent a really excellent flavor to the overall dish. I think I may toy with this a bit to see what I can do in the future; make some varients. Maybe making an extra-sweet version (more brown sugar) or a Thai version (some lemon grass , Thai chilis and basil) would work... Thanks!
Very good. I cooked these in the crockpot instead of the oven and they turned out tender and tasty. I used extra garlic and a little celery salt since I didn't have any celery seed. I will double the sauce next time.
