When making the sauce I used 1/4 cup chili sauce and 1/4 cup ketchup, also added 1 teaspoon worcestershire, also didn't want to take a chance on them drying out, so I covered the pan with foil, the bone fell right off.
My crew loved it, I served with Mean chefs fries #60119. and french bread. I'll have this one in the Spongebob folder with the rest of my favs, for future use!
This is an easy recipe to put together. The best thing about it, was the fact I had all the ingredients on hand. I used slices of pork loin, 1/4 t garlic powder, 1/2 t onion powder and 1/8 cup brown sugar plus 3/8 Sugar Twin - Brown Sugar Replacement. This bakes on a nice thick glaze that was very tasty. Made for PAC Spring 2012
Just made this the other night; VERY GOOD! I used two pork shoulder steaks and also made another batch of the sauce to pour on the steaks after flipping them for 30 minutes. For the first side, I made the recipe as is except with cider vinegar as opposed to regular. When I made the batch for the other side, I used 1/4 cup ketchup and 1/4 cup sriracha also with the cider vinegar as a sub. It turned out amazing! I have never had such tender pork steaks, and I make them a lot! This is a keeper! Thank you!
