When making the sauce I used 1/4 cup chili sauce and 1/4 cup ketchup, also added 1 teaspoon worcestershire, also didn't want to take a chance on them drying out, so I covered the pan with foil, the bone fell right off.
My crew loved it, I served with Mean chefs fries #60119. and french bread. I'll have this one in the Spongebob folder with the rest of my favs, for future use!
This is an easy recipe to put together. The best thing about it, was the fact I had all the ingredients on hand. I used slices of pork loin, 1/4 t garlic powder, 1/2 t onion powder and 1/8 cup brown sugar plus 3/8 Sugar Twin - Brown Sugar Replacement. This bakes on a nice thick glaze that was very tasty. Made for PAC Spring 2012
This was pretty good, but it did come out a little on the dry side. Where we live pork steaks are on sale quite often so we are always looking for different ways to cook them. I like that this goes together in a flash. I will make again, but will cover with foil the first 40 minutes of cooking time. Thanks for the recipe!
