  • In a large nonstick skillet, brown chicken in oil. Transfer to an 8-in. square baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. In a bowl, combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, vinegar, steak sauce and hot pepper sauce; pour over chicken.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until chicken juices run clear, basting every 15 minutes with sauce.

  1. This is a good recipe. For a personal taste, my husband and I both would prefer less worcestershire and more sweetness. I used an unsweetened ketchup and Splenda in place of the sugar. I also skipped the oil, and used boneless skinless chicken breasts. Great, thanks!
     
  2. So easy to prepare and the sauce was very nice. I actually doubled the recipe and took the skin off the chicken. Personal preference. :) Edit to add: I have also made this recipe with boneless, skinless chicken thighs and they turned out just great too.
     
  3. Hubby loved it! I used 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts & used Splenda for the sugar. I actually forgot to brown the chicken first but it didn't make any difference. Very moist & delicious & perfect for a small crowd :-)
