These were delicious. An absolute winner! Used lime juice rather than lemon & came out perfect. The sauce made the difference. Will definitely be repeating this! :-)
We enjoyed this. I'm not sure I liked the green pepper in the gravy but it was a different twist on pork chops which was nice.
I made this recipe for dinner tonight. It was soooo good! My husband loves pork chops and I have been hoping to find a new recipe to make. He said he would eat this again and again. I followed the recipe to the "T". I served it with roasted small potatoes tossed with olive oil, garlic and Italian seasonings with steamed broccoli Outstanding!! Thank you for this one Kittencal! A keeper!
When I was making this recipe, the amount of minced garlic to use was not listed, so I cut up two cloves and per the directions sauteed them for two minutes after the onions had softened. However, the sauce turned out a little bland, so maybe I should have added more. The pork chops were nice and tender, and the lemony-mushroom flavor went great with the chops!
This was a big hit for our Christmas night dinner. I didn't see garlic listed in the ingredients (but it was listed in the instructions) so I didn't add it. I also wasn't sure what temp to cook them at so I did them at 400 degrees for a little over an hour. My chops were pretty thick. Delicious & I received a lot of compliments on this dish.
