  1. This was very good bbq chicken! I did not make this for a group just me and my husband so I used two chicken breasts instead of the chicken thighs and scaled down the spice and bbq sauce quantities. It was very moist and flavorful! The cinnamon is the secret! It really makes this recipe! Thanks for posting!

  2. This was as delicious to eat as it was easy to make. I cut the recipe in half and omitted using the cinnamon... other than that, followed the recipe as written. The chicken was falling off the bone tender... so good! The house smelled fantastic, too. Served with some herbed rice & mixed veggies.

  3. If you are leaving out the cinnamon you are wasting a perfectly good recipe. I know it sounds weird but keep the cinnamon! It was perfect. Just use lightly. I couldn't believe how I could actually taste the delicious hint of cinnamon. This recipe was superb! A must try. (Only change is that I used cayenne pepper instead of paprika)

24 yr. old single mom of 1 beautiful duaghter. I've been cooking since 9 yrs. old but helping out in the kitchen since 6. My grandma tought me a lot, she always reminds me that my first time in their was a thanksgiving holiday. She had got off from work in Atlantic City because from working third shift. My mom was at work, my uncles weren't there, my brothers were to little making me the oldest so she said "Well I guess its me and you baby." Always been that way ever since. Never really liked to try different but was always trying something different in her food. Wierd isn't it. So now when I cook different things or cook a meal that she tought me. She just looks at me and smile because she always knows its going to be good. I thank her for teaching me how to cook.
